Fishing Rules and Regulations for the Joó-tó Marcalgergelyi, 2010.
General rules:1. Fishing is only allowed with a valid daily or season ticket. These can be bought on the premises.
2. One daily ticket is only valid for one person. Fishing is allowed with two rods, and maximum two hooks per rods. Scoop net and hook deliverer is a MUST! Anglers must only put fish into the rip which they are going to buy. Once fish is inside the fish container, they must be taken home, cannot be changed neither to a later caught one nor exchanging it with someone else’s fish. Please, release fish you do not need gently back to water. Despite gentle treatment, if fish is injured (eg.: hook swallowed too deep), it must be kept.
3. Children under the age of 14 can only enter the premises with a parent and may fish with one rod and one hook.
4. Fishing spots around the lake are by availability. To our guests who stay the night, while they are accommodated here, we ensure a constant spot. Fishing at the lake is only available on the areas marked by the operator.
5. On the shore for the disabled, which is marked with signs, anyone can fish. However, if an angler with disabilities arrives to the above mentioned reserved shore, the others must immediately leave the spot and find another place!
6. In case of fishing with a valid daily or season ticket – as long as the fish is kept – the exact size and weight of the fish and the time of catch must be documented into the marked part of the tickets. The fish-keeper is entitled to check this any time during sporting. Once fishing is finished, please leave daily and season ticket in the fish-keeper’s hut.
Prohibitive rules:
1. Fishes bigger than 4 kg and all tench are locally preserved and thus they are to be gently released back to water.
2. When leaving the premises, all anglers are bound to show their bags to the fish-keeper for inspection.
3. Expropriation of fish automatically results in denunciation and immediate expulsion from the premises.
4. Please protect our facilities and the plants in the water and on the waterfront as well.
5. Stones, which are there to protect the lake’s tilt, must not be rolled into the water!
6. We kindly ask everyone to keep their fishing areas clean!
7. In order to keep the quality of water, any material that could cause pollution or damage to the water’s quality must not be thrown into it (eg.: poisonous, detracts oxygen, ferments or rots etc. )!
8. It is STRICTLY PROHIBITED to bring in and release any fish that is not caught at the Marcalgergelyi Lake!
9. While at our lake, civilized, appropriate behavior is required so as not to disturb other anglers and those who wish to relax. Fishing is prohibited if alcohol has been consumed!
10. Swimming is prohibited at the fishing lake!
11. Boats are not allowed on the lake!
12. Dogs, cats or any other pets are only allowed with the permission of the lake’s owner, and they must not disturb anybody!
13. The owner cannot be held responsible for anyone’s personal equipment, valuables and objects.
14. Lighting fires and cooking is only allowed on the marked areas in all the premises of the lake.
15. Camping is only allowed in the reserved areas with the permission of the owner.
16. Furthermore, the owner has the right to change the temporary rules, season and daily fish prices and limitations on sizes, which are indicated on the notice-boards at the lake and under the Prices menu of the website.
17. Breaking any of the above rules results in immediate expulsion!
18. Anglers are bound to pay for any and all damage they cause to the owner.
19. By buying daily and/or season tickets, everyone declares they understood and accepted these above stated rules and are bound to keep them.
